Tattva Media – The Story Box, is a creative division of Urja Media, dedicated to discovering fresh writing talent and inspiring a new generation of storytellers. We provide a platform for aspiring and emerging writers to express their imagination through short stories and long-form narratives.
We believe every great film, web series, television show, or creative production begins with a story. Through Tattva Media, we aim to nurture original voices, encourage creative expression, and bring untold stories into the spotlight. Selected long-form stories may also be developed and published as books, giving writers an opportunity to take their work beyond the written page.

What we do

Written stories
Write and submit short stories and long-form fiction from your own private writing desk. Our editors read each submission, and only you and our editors can read your stories.

Audio and video stories Premium
Premium members can tell their stories through audio and video, as well as on the page.

Discovery by filmmakers Coming soon
Authorised filmmakers will be able to discover eligible published stories, opening the door to conversations about adaptation.

A storytelling community
A community that values originality, creativity and responsible storytelling, and treats every writer’s work with respect.
Submitting a story is the first step. Publication is an editorial decision, and any adaptation depends on a filmmaker’s interest and a separate agreement with you. Not every story will be published, selected or adapted.
