Participants submitting their stories outside of any competition are requested to carefully read and agree to the following terms before uploading:
The story you are submitting is not part of any competition and does not carry any submission or entry fee except for the one-time membership fee. If the participant decides to enter the competition they can do so by paying the participation fee.
Urja Media and Entertainment is not responsible, morally or legally, for any copying or plagiarism of your story.
By submitting your story, you acknowledge and accept that the entire responsibility for protecting your content lies with you (the participant).
The story will be publicly visible to all visitors of the website. We will not conduct any plagiarism checks before publishing.
Any legal disputes, especially those arising from copyright violations, will be the sole responsibility of the participant. Urja Media and Entertainment is only uploading the content as submitted, without modification or verification.
Paying the membership fee does not guarantee that your story will be published.
If the content is found to be inappropriate, offensive, or violates our guidelines, the management reserves the right to reject or withhold publication of the story.
The membership fee entitles participants to upload up to 24 stories per year ( including ones that are rejected). However, publication is subject to approval and compliance with our policies.

Masti Jal Tattva is not a competition—there are no rankings, prizes, or judges. It’s a relaxed, creative space for those who simply love to write and want to express themselves freely.
To help us maintain and manage this platform, there is a one-time annual membership fee. This allows you to submit up to 24 stories in a year—that’s two a month! However, please note that stories with inappropriate language or unsuitable themes may be rejected.
All stories will be published on an open platform, making them visible to the public. While we do our best to maintain integrity, Urja Media and Entertainment and Tattvamedia.in will not be responsible if your work is copied or misused by someone else. By submitting, you acknowledge and accept this risk.
We trust your creativity, but we take originality seriously. Any kind of plagiarism or copyright violation is your personal responsibility. If you copy someone else’s work or if any legal issue arises from your submission, you alone will be accountable—Urja Media and Entertainment and Tattvamedia.in will have no role in such matters.

Eligibility Criteria:

Open Category (17 & Above) – Anyone with a compelling story to tell!
Masti- Jal Tattva welcomes students, professionals, freelancers, and anyone with a passion for storytelling to participate. If you have a story waiting to be told, this is your stage
✅ Theme:
✅ Language:
Stories can be written in English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarathi, Malayalam, Teugu, Tamil,Kannada. A translation in English or Hindi for regional language will preferred by not a compulsion.
✅ Originality:
The submitted story must be original and unpublished.
No adaptations or plagiarized content will be accepted.
✅ Format & Word Limit:
Short stories should be between 2,500 to 4,500 words.
The story should be engaging and suitable for a short film adaptation (15-20 minutes).
✅ Rejected Stories:
Rejected stories wont be published and wont be allowed to be rewritten. No feedback or reason will be provided for rejected stories. The decision of the panel will be final and binding.

Free online writing workshop in case your story gets rejected in 3 attempts. Once you complete the workshop you will be given one more oppurtunity to submit your story free of cost.

In case of the review panel rejecting your story, you will be allowed to revise and re-submit your story 3 times.
Selected stories will be consolidated and published as a book, we'll assist you in the process. -
